If "Funky" Photography is Your Game,
You've GOT TO KNOW This Trick!!!
1. Open a new pack of Polaroid 600 Film.
2. Upon loading the camera, a black "Cover Sheet" will be dispensed... (Note~ This Will Be Our Tool.)
3. Do nothing to the "Cover Sheet" Go outside (in the night) and position your camera for your extended /or/ "BULB" Exposure.
4. Open up the door to the film housing. (Note~ The next step requires good timing & some practice... But it WILL WORK.)
5. Slide the "Cover Sheet" Just Under the Film Pack you have just inserted & ABOVE the metal/plastic underside of the camera itself.
***TO CHECK IF THIS IS GOING TO WORK, KEEP AN EYE ON THE GREEN "FLASH" INDICATOR LIGHT... ONCE YOU PUSH IT IN FAR ENOUGH, THE LIGHT WILL GO OFF ON IT'S OWN... TO MAKE SURE YOU HAVE THIS CORRECTLY POSITIONED, PULL BACK ON THE "COVER SHEET" JUST A TAD... THE LIGHT SHOULD COME BACK ON AGAIN...
ONCE YOU FIND THE "CUTOFF POINT" MAKE SURE YOU ARE IN THE "GREEN LIGHT" AND CLOSE ENOUGH TO CUT THE SHUTTER OPEN FOR YOUR LONG EXPOSURE.***
6. Place Your Pointer Finger across the Front Edge of the "Cover Sheet" and with your other free hand Place Your Finger on the Shutter Button to take the picture...
7. QUICKLY squeeze the shutter button, and Push the "Cover Sheet" in to block the Shutter Open... **DO NOT PUSH THE "COVER SHEET" IN FULLY!!! WE NEED TO PULL THIS OUT LATER**
8. On Average, 3 Minutes seems to do well for dim/Suburban street-lighting. ADD Minutes if in Rural or Nature Setting & SUBTRACT Minutes for City/Urban Night Scenes.
9. Once you are ready to eject the image, SIMPLY pull the "Cover Sheet" out, and the image will Dispence.
10. Now you have a ONE OF A KIND - TIME LAPS POLAROID USING ONLY WHAT CAME WITH YOUR FILM!!!
... And Remember You Heard It HERE FIRST ...
